First-half 2026 results: AFL Group reports solid results and achieves strategic milestones in the development of its refinancing tools

In a complex geopolitical and financial environment, AFL Group delivers solid results and confirms the resilience of its business model.

The first half of 2026 was also marked by major strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening AFL’s refinancing capabilities over the long term for the benefit of local public investment.

Results as of 30 June 2026

  • Net interest margin increases to €15.6 million, supported by the continued growth in outstanding loans.
  • Net banking income amounts to €15.1 million.
  • Gross operating income reaches €4.2 million.
  • One capital increase enabled 29 new shareholder local governments to join AFL Group, bringing the total number of shareholders to 1,300.
  • Balance-sheet strength is confirmed by robust liquidity and capital ratios, with prudential own funds increasing by more than €20 million during the half-year period.
