AFL, the bank for local governments, announces that the ACPR has recognized its deeply subordinated debt issued in 2024 as Additional Tier 1 (AT1) capital, with effect from 31 December 2025.
The AT1 instruments will therefore be included in AFL’s regulatory capital ratios, strengthening its capital position and its capacity to support local authorities’ investment needs.
